Curriculum for excellence

With a truly international cohort we place literacy and language development at the centre of our curriculum in the junior school, as it allows success in every other subject. Around this we develop the highest levels of numeracy, speaking and listening skills to stretch and challenge our students so that they are ready for the senior school.

Developing life-long learners

We believe that this is an age-group where the flame of learning burns brightly and we wish to build on this enthusiasm, as there is a risk it can diminish at this age. Students are fascinated by the world around them, but they need challenges and guidance by outstanding teachers to continue to excel and develop.

Connected learning

Connected learning encourages students to see the links between everything they are learning through personal and group projects. Not only does this give students an opportunity for independent study it also helps foster a greater understanding of topics and progress in all of their academic studies.

King's activities

We also want our students to look forward to school every day so we have a broad and varied range of King's activities (clubs, societies, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities) for them to be excited about each day.
