Well-rounded students

The last year leading up to examination results can be one of the most challenging in young people's lives. At King's we give students the tools to deal with these challenges through our pastoral care and by giving them a curriculum that encourages them to work widely instead of narrowing their vision to the exams.

Breadth and depth

At GCSE we ensure that students are given a wide and varied curriculum which offers sports, creative and performing arts and traditional subjects which do not limit students when it comes to their sixth form choices. At A level we give individual advice and guidance to ensure that every student is doing subjects that they are passionate about. We know that young people do better when they are fully engaged and we urge them to follow their interests whilst keeping their options open at university.

King's activities

We do not reduce the amount of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities on offer for our examination years and want all our students to continue to enjoy their time in school. We want each individual to maintain their love of learning and thirst for knowledge so that they leave us as lifelong learners and well- rounded individuals.
